About the role

Safety professional with experience in implementing OHSAS policies, conducting HIRA risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with Factory Act, electrical safety standards, and industry practices. Skilled in safety training, mock drills, fire-fighting systems, and promoting a strong safety culture across the organization.

Roles and Responsibilities

·         Plan and implement OHSAS policies and programs

·         Advise and lead employees on various safety-related topics

·         Adhere to all the rules and regulations as per Factory Act

·         Having good knowledge towards various Safety standards like NFPA, CEA 2010, Indian Electricity amendment Rule 2003 , The Electricity Amendment Act, 2007, NEC 2011: National Electrical Code 2011, Indian Electricity Rules, 1956, IS Specifications & codes of practice for the electrical system and equipment, Good Engineering Practices and Standard Industrial Practices etc.

·         Conduct risk assessment through HIRA

·         Hands on experience to organize various safety mock drills .

·         Experience to maintain an efficient Fire Fighting system as per std.

·         Having exposure to CII EHS excellence practices

·         Excellent knowledge of legislations and procedures

·         Excellent knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices

·         Experience with writing policies and procedures for health and safety

·         Proficient in MS Office

·         Critical thinker and problem-solving skills

·         Good time-management skills

·         Great interpersonal and communication skills

·         Certificate in occupational health and safety
