Purchase Manager
About the role
Looking for a dynamic and result-driven Purchase Manager to lead procurement operations for a manufacturing division. The role involves managing end-to-end sourcing, vendor development, and cost optimization while ensuring seamless supply to support production.
Roles and Responsibilities
· Manage end-to-end Direct & Indirect Procurement (RM, bought-out parts, consumables, services, CapEx)
· Develop and implement sourcing strategies for cost optimization
· Handle vendor development, negotiation & performance management
· Ensure timely availability of materials aligned with production plans
· Drive cost reduction, value engineering & alternate sourcing
· Monitor inventory levels, lead times & procurement KPIs
· Ensure compliance with quality, delivery & commercial terms
· 12+ years of experience in Purchase / Procurement
· Strong exposure to automotive / sheet metal / fabrication industry
· Expertise in vendor negotiation, costing & supply chain coordination
· Hands-on experience in ERP / SAP systems
· Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills
Education
UG: B.Tech/B.E., in Any Specialization, Diploma: Any Specialization
