About the role
- Looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Production Trainee to join our manufacturing team.
- The candidate will receive hands-on exposure to production processes, shop-floor operations, quality standards, safety procedures, and productivity improvement initiatives.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in day-to-day production and manufacturing operations.
- Monitor production processes and ensure adherence to defined procedures.
- Support supervisors and production engineers in achieving daily production targets.
- Maintain production records, reports, and relevant documentation.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and standard operating procedures.
- Identify and report production-related issues to the concerned supervisor.
- Assist in reducing rejection, wastage, downtime, and process deviations.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and other departments as required.
- Participate in process improvement, 5S, Kaizen, and productivity improvement activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and discipline on the shop floor.
- Follow all company safety guidelines and PPE requirements.
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Production / Industrial / Automobile Engineering or a relevant technical discipline.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing and production processes.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, will be an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team and coordinate with different departments.
- Willingness to work in a shop-floor/manufacturing environment.
- Strong learning attitude and ability to follow instructions.
- Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, or TPM will be an added advantage.
