Manager R&D-Low Voltage (LV) Components For Electric Vehicle
About the role
- To lead the end-to-end development, integration, validation and production readiness of Low Voltage (LV) electrical and electronic components (Technical requirements component development supplier management vehicle integration validation SOP diagnostics and field issue resolution) for electric vehicles ensuring performance, reliability, safety, quality, cost and project timing.
Roles and Responsibilities
- LV Component & System Ownership
Own the technical development and lifecycle of LV electrical/electronic components, including:
- LV Electrical Architecture & Integration
Define and maintain LV electrical architecture for EV platforms.
- ECU, CAN, Diagnostics & Testing
Lead electrical and communication integration of LV ECUs.
- Component Development & Supplier Management
Technically evaluate LV component suppliers/Evaluation matrix
- Validation & Release
Define and monitor component and vehicle-level validation for LV systems covering:
Review DVP&R, test specifications and validation reports, and ensure timely closure of validation issues before component release.
- Vehicle Launch & Field Quality.
Qualification & Experience
Essential:
B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, EEE, ECE, Mechatronics, Automotive or related engineering discipline.
Preferred:
M.E./M.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Automotive, Control Systems, Embedded Systems or related discipline.
Experience
7-15 years of relevant automotive/EV experience, preferably with hands-on experience in LV electrical/electronic systems and vehicle integration.
Experience in electric commercial vehicles / LCVs / HCVs /buses will be an advantage.

PG: M.Tech, in Electrical, UG: B.Tech/B.E., B.Tech / B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Electrical
