About the role
- To lead the end-to-end development, integration, validation and production readiness of High Voltage (HV) electrical and power electronic components for electric vehicles.
- The role will be responsible for defining technical requirements, component architecture, supplier development, vehicle integration, validation, troubleshooting and launch of HV systems while ensuring performance, reliability, safety, cost, quality and regulatory compliance.
- The position will work closely with Vehicle Architecture, Battery/BMS, VCU, Powertrain, Software, Functional Safety, EMC, Thermal, Vehicle Integration, Quality, Manufacturing and external suppliers.
- Candidate should have strong hands-on experience in EV high-voltage systems and vehicle integration, with the ability to manage HV components from requirement definition through design, supplier development, validation, vehicle integration, production launch and field quality.
- The candidate should be capable of understanding the complete HV energy path:
- HV Battery BDU/PDU Pre-charge DC Link Inverter/MCU Traction Motor
- and auxiliary HV system such as:
- HV Battery OBC / DC-DC / E-Compressor / EHPS/ Other HV Loads
- The candidate should also understand the interaction between BMS, VCU, MCU, OBC, DC/DC, HVIL, diagnostics and vehicle-level safety strategies.

QUALIFICATION
Essential:
B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
Preferred:
M.E./M.Tech in Power Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Automotive Engineering.
EXPERIENCE
Recommended Experience: 7-15 years of relevant automotive / EV experience, with significant exposure to HV systems, power electronics or EV electrical architecture.
Experience in electric commercial vehicles / LCVs / buses / high-voltage EV platforms will be an advantage.
