About the role

  • Leading the Production team in Battery assembly plant (Module and Pack line)

Roles and Responsibilities

  • To Manage day to day activities of Battery Management System (BMS) Centre and meet its hardware and software and training requirement
  • To Co-ordinate with Store/Dispatch for inward and outward of Battery
  • To Supervise the Cell Testing, Cell Bunching, Grouping & Line Process
  • To Manage entire assembly line
  • Testing & Validation of output Lithium Ion-Batteries
  • Verification & Validation of new firmware & products
  • Ensuring zero defect in -FG & final inspection
  • Handling Manpower & material Schedule
  • Production Planning according to the availability, FIFO and Customer requirement
  • Maintaining 5- S Condition on shopfloor
  • Ensuring Process Compliance as per technical specification and SOP
  • Handling the tasks maintaining high quality of Production and reduction in rework
  • Skill enhancement training for associates
  • Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical or electronic engineering with 3-5 years in battery assembly plant

    • Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or related field.
    • 3–5 years’ experience in Lithium-Ion battery assembly/EV battery manufacturing.
    • Hands-on knowledge of BMS, battery module & pack assembly, cell testing and grouping.
    • Experience in production planning, manpower/material handling and line supervision.
    • Knowledge of battery testing, firmware validation, SOP, 5S and quality compliance.
    • Strong skills in team management, troubleshooting and process improvement.
    • Good communication and coordination skills.
