About the role

Job Purpose- Responsible for Tool Development within the Engineering function, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of stamping tools and related engineering solutions.

Lead tool development activities including CAD, Catia, simulation, feasibility studies, design reviews, buy-off, HLTO, handover, and customer coordination.
Manage the complete tool development process from RFQ to TGA to final handover.
Coordinate with suppliers, quality, and delivery teams to ensure on-time tool development as per the master plan.
Ensure adherence to MRD (Milestone Review Dates) and readiness of stamping panels as per MRD requirements.
Drive VA/VE (Value Analysis/Value Engineering) and cost-saving initiatives, including the execution of cost-saving projects.

Candidate- Education: BE / DME / Diploma in Tooling Engineering. (Candidate from NTTF will be preferred). with experience of 10 to 15 years in relevant tooling development roles.
Skills & Capabilities- * Experience with NTTF and tooling development for Tier 1 stamping (tandem, skin panel, progressive dies, coil blanking)
Proficiency in SOR, sign-off, customer coordination for TGA, and supplier feasibility coordination.
Strong skills in simulation, feasibility analysis, GD&T, process optimization, design, buy-off, HLTO, prove-out, PTR, SPM, tooling layout, and storage
Demonstrated ability in VA/VE and cost-saving projects
