About the role
- Looking for a skilled and responsible CNC Operator to operate CNC machines and ensure smooth production as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines safely and efficiently as per production requirements.
- Set up machines, tools, fixtures, and workpieces for production.
- Read and understand engineering drawings, dimensions, and tolerances.
- Check tool offsets and make necessary adjustments during machining.
- Monitor machine operations and identify abnormalities or defects.
- Perform in-process inspection using measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, etc.
- Maintain required production quantity and quality standards.
- Follow work instructions, process sheets, and safety procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and basic upkeep of CNC machines and work areas.
- Report machine problems, tool wear, quality issues, and production deviations to the supervisor.
- Follow 5S, safety, and quality procedures on the shop floor.
- Experience with CNC Turning / CNC VMC / HMC machines.
- Experience in operating machines from reputed CNC manufacturers.
- Knowledge of Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi CNC controls will be an added advantage.
- Experience in precision/component manufacturing will be preferred.
