About the role

  • Design, development, testing, and validation of automotive electrical switches and electro-mechanical components, including SOR, technical specifications, benchmarking, ECN, and vehicle testing. The role involves supplier coordination, quality improvement, fault finding, RCA, issue resolution, and supplier audits, requiring strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, switch design, testing, troubleshooting, and supplier management.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Automotive Electrical Switch development
  • Knowledge of different types of automotive electrical switches, sensors & electro-mechanical components
  • Preparing SOR, finalizing technical specification & technical reviews with suppliers
  • Electrical Switch designing including Hardware, electrical connections.
  • Work out design validation plan, vehicle testing, benchmarking.
  • ECN management.
  • Supplier management by close loop feedback from build to design correction.
  • Support for vehicle build from mule to saleable.
  • Expertise in Issue resolution, fault finding on vehicle, root cause analysis
  • Root Cause Analysis for all the Engineering issues of testing, in plant or field issues Periodic audits of suppliers to improve the quality and process improvements.

  • Education: BE/BTech electrical/electronics
  • Experience: 4-7years in Automotive switch development
  • Skills and Knowledge: Good Interpersonal and Communication skills. Expertise in issue resolution.
