About the role

  • CAPEX Procurement professional experienced in sourcing plant machinery, equipment, tooling, utilities, and infrastructure projects. Skilled in RFQ/RFP management, supplier evaluation, techno-commercial negotiations, cost optimization, vendor development, and SAP procurement, with a strong focus on timely delivery and cross-functional project execution.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Handle end-to-end CAPEX procurement for plant machinery, equipment, tooling, utilities, and infrastructure projects.
  • Manage RFQs/RFPs, supplier evaluation, techno-commercial negotiations, and purchase order release.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, Production, and Finance teams for timely project execution.
  • Drive cost optimization, vendor development, contract management, and supplier performance.
  • Ensure on-time delivery, compliance with procurement policies, and SAP documentation
  • Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Engineering; preferred.
  • 7-15 years of CAPEX procurement experience in the Automotive/Auto Component industry.
  • Strong negotiation, sourcing, vendor management, and project procurement skills.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP MM/ERP
